  • Self Care Assistance

    Over our years of experience within the disability and community sectors we have come to recognise and appreciate the level of complexity faced by people with a disability when tackling everyday tasks and activities. We provide training and development across a range of life skills, including:

    Personal Daily Care

    Providing respectful, reliable support with essential personal activities:

    Our Improved Daily Living Skills programs focus on building the participant’s functional capacity, confidence, and ability to manage everyday life as independently as possible.

    We collaborate closely with Support Coordinators and allied health teams to ensure participants receive structured, consistent, and outcome-driven support aligned with their NDIS goals.

  • Respite - Short Term Acommodation

    Respite - Short Term Accomodation

    We offer welcoming, safe, and fully supported respite stays where participants can rest, reset, and enjoy a comfortable home away from home

    Our home includes features such as:

    ✔ Fully stocked kitchen and modern appliances

    ✔ Spacious living areas optimised for ease of movement

    ✔ Spacious outdoor patio and backyard

    ✔ Security features for peace of mind including 24/7 outdoor video surveillance of the property

  • Support Coordination

    Support Coordinators ensure participants are not navigating the NDIS alone. They reduce complexity, advocate for the participant’s needs, and build a supportive network that helps maintain stability, safety, and consistent progress.

    They are essential partners for providers, hospitals, and families in achieving meaningful outcomes for participants.

    Our Support Coordinator will help with:

  • Health & Wellbeing

    At Ubuntu Va our approach to wellbeing is holistic. We aim to care for the mind body and soul and include a mindfulness component for our clients and staff.

    We run fortnightly meditation sessions at our Respite home in Lalor and also offer Reiki sessions to help promote peace, clarity and overall wellness.

  • Psychosocial Support

    Psychosocial supports help individuals manage daily life, engage with their community, and work towards meaningful personal goals—at their own pace and in a safe, recovery-focused environment.

    These supports are delivered by trained staff who understand the complexities of mental health, trauma, emotional regulation, and community integration.
